Zijn taak was het werken op de eerste hulp van een mobiel ziekenhuis in Camp Smity. Bart was als lid van de groep \u201cOud Mariniers\u201d onder leiding van Jaap van Huffelen altijd aanwezig bij onze herdenkingen in de gemeente Epe.
