Maandagavond 04 oktober overhandiging Broken Wings aan de Stichting Oktober 1944 in in Museum Vaassen Historie een tweetal objecten. \"\"
\nDat waren een boek over geschiedenis van Putten tijdens de 2e WO een van weggevoerde en een rouwkaart mannen uit Putten. Een aantal Puttenaren geven de verhalen daarvan door.<\/p>\n

De wegvoering van de 600 mannen uit hun dorp op 1 oktober 1944 naar de Duitse kampen en de terugkomst van slechts 49 mannen na de oorlog, is iets wat niet meer zichtbaar is maar een aantal Puttenaren kunnen zich dat nog haarfijn vertellen.
\nDe objecten zijn in ontvangst genomen door de voorzitter van Stichting Oktober 1944, dhr J. van den Hoorn uit Putten.<\/p>\n

Als blijk van waardering van de Stichting Oktober 1944 ontving Broken Wings het boek \u201cPutten, niet zomaar een dorp\u201d .<\/p>\n

Wij als Broken Wings zijn blij dat originele objecten thuiskomen waar ze horen, in Putten.\"\"<\/p>\n
