AIRBORNE MUSEUM PRESENTEERT SLAG OM ARNHEM IN EUSEBIUSTOREN<\/p>\n

\u2018SLAG OM ARNHEM \u2013 70 JAAR ONVOLTOOID VERLEDEN\u2019 presenteert een fascinerend en bewogen hoofdstuk uit de Arnhemse oorlogsgeschiedenis VANUIT HET OOGPUNT VAN MILITAIREN EN BURGERS. En dat met een magnifiek uitzicht vanuit de 93 METER HOGE EUSEBIUSTOREN over de hele regio waaronder de John Frost brug. \u2018Slag om Arnhem \u2013 Onvoltooid Verleden\u2019 is te zien VAN 18 SEPTEMBER T\/M 31 AUGUSTUS 2015. De entreeprijs bedraagt \u20ac6,00.<\/p>\n

PROGRAMMA 70 JAAR SLAG OM ARNHEM<\/p>\n

Het Airborne Museum staat met name stil bij het veelal ONVERTELDE VERHAAL van de evacuatie van de BURGERS met de tentoonstelling \u2018Van Huis en Haard \u2013 Airborne Memories\u2019 [3].<\/p>\n

MUSEUM ARNHEM en het Airborne Museum \u2018Hartenstein\u2019 trekken samen op in het project Assessing Reasons for Failure. KUNSTENAARSCOLLECTIEF SUZE MAY SHO vond een groot aantal objecten in het Airborne Museum dat zij opneemt in een installatie in de KOEPELZAAL van Museum Arnhem en daarmee de bezoeker een ander perspectief geeft op de traumatische Slag om Arnhem en de daaropvolgende evacuatie van de bewoners.<\/p>\n

Het Airborne Museum ondersteunt STICHTING DRIEL-POLEN bij de inrichting van een NIEUW INFORMATIECENTRUM over de 1STE POOLSE ONAFHANKELIJKE PARACHUTISTENBRIGADE en haar strijd tijdens de Slag om Arnhem bij het dorp Driel.<\/p>\n

OKTOBER IS MAAND VAN DE GESCHIEDENIS met het thema ‘Vriend en Vijand’.<\/p>\n

Het Airborne Museum trakteert bezoekers op een verrassende ROUTE, creatieve ACTIVITEITEN en ontroerende VERHALEN. Op verschillende plekken in het museum worden bijzondere vriendschappen en onverwachte vijanden zichtbaar in de speciale VRIEND & VIJAND ONTDEKKINGSROUTE.<\/p>\n

In de HERFSTVAKANTIE van 11 tot en met 26 oktober kunnen kinderen vanaf<\/p>\n

6 jaar (en hun (groot)ouders) GRATIS een AIRBORNE VRIENDSCHAPSARMBANDJE maken in de Hall of Fame. Hier horen ze bovendien het BIJZONDERE VERHAAL van de speciale vriendschapsarmband en TWEE AIRBORNE PILOTEN die elkaar tijdens de Slag om Arnhem kwijtraakten.<\/p>\n

Op de GELDERSE MUSEUMDAG (zaterdag 18 oktober) bezoek je het museum voor maar \u20ac1!<\/p>\n
